International Saxophonist, Trey Daniels, is scheduled to release his latest album, “EVOLVE,” January 2019. With a modern-day touch, the album is a unique blend of Jazz, R&B, Pop, and Soul that will captivate listener’s right from the start. This unique project has already received two thumbs up from American singer/songwriter Anita Baker and will satisfy listeners that are young and/or young at heart.
The multi-faceted artistry is influenced by an old school Gospel Jazz vibe. Born at two lbs., 8 ounces, as an infant he was unable to use his own lungs to breathe. He says, “It’s truly a miracle that I am able to do what I do today and a testament to the grace of God. It’s also the reason I am able to play with such passion, energy, and honesty.”
Those characteristics have been part of Trey’s musical life from the beginning until now. He has had the opportunity to perform at the Columbus Jazz Festival, Essence Music Festival, FAMU Presidential Inauguration, Harvard University, Washington Nationals and recently performed the National Anthem at the Carolina Panthers home game.
A dynamic, infectious live performer and bandleader, he creates an exciting synergy with his audience and enjoys the impromptu nature of certain moments where the crowd feed off each other’s powerful dual-energy. I am certain your viewers will thoroughly enjoy hearing more about this millennial saxophonist story.
