B.o.B Releases lead single forthcoming album
Rapper B.o.B recently released the first single off his forthcoming album “Somnia,” which is set for release on Friday, Sept. 11.
The Atlanta-native decided to spearhead his new album with “Slizzy Sity,” and premiered the song on Aug. 21, on YouTube with a music video debut.
He’s been utilizing his YouTube channel more lately, especially after introducing his podcast six months ago, titled “The BoBCast.” Most of the episodes have reached over 10,000 views.
In the music video, B.o.B is relaxing in an extra-wide version of a California king bed with a small harem of four women. As the women roll around in the sheets with B.o.B, the fivesome enjoy themselves while passing the blunt.
The women are unwinding in bodysuits and bra and panty sets, in case anyone was wondering. No exactly covered up but more clothed than the girls who used to be featured in “BET Uncut” music videos.
Since his commercial debut in 2009 with “Nothin’ on You,” B.o.B has released seven studio albums and managed to make several platinum singles, including “Airplanes,” “Magic” and “So Good”
His last album “Southmatic,” came out last year through his No Genre independent record label that he founded in 2014.
Prior to being a commercial success, B.o.B was a producer and mixtape artist who gained recognition for his underground hit, “Haterz Everywhere,” reaching radio and being placed in a video game.
With the premiere of the new single and visual, B.o.B has already selected “After Hourzzz”, produced by Grammy-nominated producer, Tay Keith, to be the second single of the new album.
The music video for “Slizzy Sity” also teases some visuals of “After Hourzzz” for fans to enjoy.
