Newly appointed Program Director for News and Talk 1380-WAOK, Joyce Littel, has been nominated for induction into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame (GRHOF) – an honor that celebrates radio personalities who have bought both esteem and respect to the state of Georgia through his/her radio career.
“I’ve got to admit, it is an amazing feeling to be nominated for induction into the Georgia Hall of Fame,” Littel said.
“It’s quite humbling to know that my work, dedication and years in the game are respected by my peers and colleagues enough to where they want to see me celebrated and acknowledged. It really means the world to me.”
Since beginning her career in 1981, Joyce Littel has spent three and a half decades proving herself to be an important part of Atlanta’s history.
From celebrated radio legend to visionary and CEO of Littel Concepts LLC, Joyce has been deemed one of the most respected voices in entertainment.
The success of her longstanding, top-ranking shows – the “Quiet Storm” (Monday – Thursday from 10PM – 1AM on the People’s Station, V-103), and “Love & Relationships” (now airing on Sundays from 4PM – 6PM on News & Talk 1380-WAOK) – as well as her roster of must-see/must-do signature events, has undoubtedly set a standard of excellence in both industry and community.
Once inducted, Littel will join the likes of Silas “Si Man Baby” Alexander, Mitch Faulkner, Mark Arum, Condace Pressley, Larry Tinsley, Ryan Cameron, and Mike Roberts.
